Social Networking

Structure of social Networking

The shape of any network depends solely on the type of connections and the ends as explained in a term.

It is better understood by the fact that a loose link or an open connection tends to pull in more characters into similar groups.

This theory is explains in the form of nodes and ties. Nodes herein are denoted as the individuals within the network and the ties refer to the relationship shared between these individuals.

The social networks encouraging loose ends to the relational chart often look up to more members joining in, where else a closely knit relation refers to a kind of a community.

The first social networking was Classmates.com. These types of social networking portals used the methodology of virtual communities.

A virtual community is a group of people who communicate or grow relations using the Internet. This has been possible due to the technical advancement of the communication processes.

The procedure of functioning is more or less the same. With a set of initial members sending out invitational messages to friends in their own network, they make them join and thus grow the network.

Thereon in order to attract more members inwards, these sites set offerings of address books, viewable profiles and the authority to invite more members to the network.
